Program Statistics/Placement Details

Since 2013 when clinical residency completion became a requirement of the ABR, 97% (35/36) of our program graduates who applied for at least one residency position, were matched and enrolled. From 2010 to 2012, prior to the residency mandate, 89% (16/18) of our graduates were able to obtain either a residency or clinical physics position (50% residency, 39% clinical physicist). Several graduates pursued PhD degrees. By comparison, from 2011-2015, only 25% of MS graduates and 38% of PhD graduates of CAMPEP-accredited graduate programs, entered residencies. (see statistics from JACMP 18:6: 275-287).
